Char Dham Yatra is one of the famous piligrim destinations in Hindus in the lap of Himalayan range. Char Dham yatra is collection of fours piligrim destinations namely Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. According to Hindu traditions piligrimages begins form the West and ends in the East, so the Char Dham Yatra commences from Yamunotri then proceed to Gangotri and then Kedarnath and Badrinath. Every Dham has its own importance and devotes to a specific deity. Yamunotri is dedicated to the Godess Yamuna and it is believed that a bath in the water of Yamuna Protects the devotee form untimely death. Gangotri is dedicated to the goddess Ganga, Ganga is the Holiest river in India and again its belongs to ancient king Bhagirath, believed that he was succeeded in bringing the goddess Ganga form the Heaven.
Lord Shiva and is also a part of the Panch Kedar. It is the northernmost Jyotirlinga and is close to the source of the holy River Mandakini. Badrinath is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It is situated on the bank of the River Alaknanda. According to legend, Lord Vishnu meditated here. Char Dham is not only famous for piligrims destinations but also for the beautiful Himalayan range, eye catching forests, mountains and the adventures places.
Destination : Haridwar - Barkot - Gangotri - Uttarkashi - Guptakashi - Kedarnath - Guptakashi - Haridwar
On arrival meet greet with our representative at Haridwar and proceed to drive to Barkot/Syanachatti. En-route you can halt for some time at Mussoorie&Kempty falls. Later proceed to Barkot on arrival check in Hotel. Dinner & overnight at the hotel.
Early morning drive to Jankichatti and then trek for 07 kms to reach Yamunotri. Visit the temple of Goddess Yamuna which is situated on the banks of the river. There is a hot water spring adjacent to this temple. The pilgrims take a holy dip in this spring before darshan of the temple. You can also cook rice in these hot waters.After Darshan return to Barkot/Jankichatti.Dinner & overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast drive to Uttarkashi. On arrival check in hotel relax and refreshment at in the evening you can visit the famous Vishwanath Temple. Dinner & overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, we will proceed to Harsil. Harsil is one of the beautiful valley in the range of Uttarakhand. On the way we can halt at Gangnani which again has hot water springs. Then drive to Gangotri (22 kms/1 hr) the most Holy River of Hindus- The Ganges. You can take a dip and can perform Pooja. After Pooja you can enjoy the surroundings of Gangotri. In the afternoon return back to Uttarkashi. Dinner & overnight at the hotel.
After early breakfast, we will proceed to Guptakashi. On arrivel check in hotel.Dinner & overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, we proceed to Phata and then Sonprayag for medical checkup.And then proceed to Gaurikund. From Gaurikundwe begin our trek to Kedarnath. The government has put up tents for stay at Gaurigaon, Bhimbali, Lencholi and Kedarnath, they will also provide meals and medical facilities at these locations. After darshan at Kedarnath overnight stay inKedarnath Camps.
In the morning return back to Sonprayag. Now we will proceed to Guptkashi. Relax into the hotel. Dinner & overnight in hotel.
After breakfast transfer to Badrinath, en-route visit Karanprayag, Nandprayag, Vishnu Prayag, &Joshimath (Narshimha Temple) on arrival check in at hotel, in the evening visit Badrinath temple, overnight stay at hotel.
Get up early in the morning. There is a hot water spring here called as Tapt Kund. Take a holy dip here before taking Darshan of the Badrivishal long with Ganesh, Kubera, Garuda, Narada, Udhhav, Nar& Narayan.Proceed to Haridwar, Haridwar on arrival transfer for your onward destination.
